Ochratoxins are a group of closely related metabolites produced by various fungal species of Aspergillus and Penicillium. Ochratoxin A is the most carcinogenic and the most prevalent ochratoxin. Innovative Rapid One Step Assay (ROSA) technology ensures speed, ease of use, quantitation and accuracy.

In 2005, the EU established an MRL, (Regulation 233/2005): 2.0 μg/kg (2 ppb) for wine (red, white, and rosé) and other wine ­ and/or grape must-based beverages, grape juice, grape juice ingredients in other beverages (including grape nectar and concentrated grape juice as reconstituted), grape must and concentrated grape must as reconstituted (intended for direct human consumption).
