 The Charm ROSA Tetracycline Test for Urine is an immunoreceptor assay utilizing ROSA (Rapid One Step Assay) lateral flow technology. The sample interacts with colored beads and the intensity of the color in the test zone is read visually or by the ROSA Reader. Tetracyclines are detected in urine at levels to predict violative tetracycline residue levels in muscle tissue. The test is designed for use by laboratory, field, and regulatory personnel.

REGULATORY LEVELS & TOLERANCES The chlortetracycline and oxytetracycline detection levels in urine are designed to predict the EU MRL of 100 µg/kg (ppb) and the US Tolerance of 2000 ppb total tetracyclines in muscle tissue (21 CFR 556.720). A dilution step adjusts to detect lower or higher concentrations of tetracycline drugs.
