Charm SL (Safe Level) Beta-lactam Test is specifically designed to limit rejection of non-violative milk by overly sensitive screening tests. Charm SL detects close to safe levels for 5 of 6 of the most widely used beta-lactam drugs. Charm SL saves valuable milk for processing and consumption.

Charm SL is officially approved to screen raw commingled milk under Appendix N of the US Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.

The SL test can also be used for unofficial testing of individual cow samples and pasteurized whole milk, ensuring uniformity in testing no matter what stage milk is tested.
