CHARM ROSA SULFA TEST Print E-mail

The Charm Sulfa Test is the first lateral flow strip test to detect all members of the sulfonamide family of drugs in milk.

Sulfonamides (sulfa drugs) are commonly used antibiotics on dairy farms to treat bacterial infections. Because of their toxicity and ability to provoke allergic reactions in humans, sulfonamides are primarily used for non-lactating animals.

The Charm Sulfa Test quickly detects most sulfa drugs at or below 10 ppb.

EU MRL: 100 PPB
Milk dilution allows the Charm Sulfa Test to meet the European 100 ppb maximum residue limit (MRL) for total sulfonamides. Milk dilution allows the Charm Sulfa Test to meet the European 100 ppb maximum residue limit (MRL) for total sulfonamides.

CANADIAN MRL: 10 PPB
